what is python programming

Python is a high-level, object-oriented, translated, creative-semance programming language. Its high-level data structures, combined with dynamic typing and flexible linking, make it very appealing for Rapid Application Creation as well as for use as a scripting or glue language to bind existing components. Quick to understand syntax underlines readability and therefore reduces program maintenance costs. Python supports modules and packages which promote software modularity and code reuse. The Python interpreter and the extensive standard library are available free in source or binary form for all major platforms, and can be distributed freely.

what can do with python?

*Python can be used to create server-based Web applications.

*Python can be used alongside the software to create workflows.

*Database systems can work with Python. It can read and edit files, as well.

*Python can be used for Big Data analysis and for complex math.

*Python can be used for fast prototyping or for the production-ready software creation.

Why should Python?

>Python runs on different platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Raspberry Pi etc.).

>The syntax of Python is very simple, similar to English

>Python has a syntax which enables developers to write programs with fewer lines of code than some other languages

>Python can be handled in a procedural, object-oriented, or functional fashion.

Good to know

The new big update from Python is Python 3 which we'll use in this tutorial. Although Python 2, with nothing but security updates, is not updated, it's still very popular.

Python uses new lines to complete a sequence, as opposed to other programming languages that also use semicolons or parentheses.

Python relies on indentation to describe scope, using white space; such as loops, functions, and class scope. To this end, many programming languages also use curly-brackets.
